About This Course

Develop your digital skills!

Digital technology is affecting almost every aspect of our lives. In this context, the future of modern society depends on people capable of leading business transformation and innovation in a digitally-enabled economy. However, this requires a new and rare combination of business, technology and strategic skills and knowledge — the so-called e-skills or digital skills.

Training digital skills is an individual matter. Thus, this course will enables you to go through a personalised skill development journey based on individual skill development goals. Therefore, this course is based on the MDT Skill Framework. More specifically, this course focusses on the skill cluster digital communication and digital teamworking, the first two of, in total, four skill clusters. While theoretical knowledge and concepts as well as practical voices and best practices can offer an understanding of the skill context and application, it needs practice-based learning to develop the own individual skills and enable individual reflection and decision-making for training. Therefore, this course provides interactive skill development sheets to train skills in practice, thus, enable a rich training integrated into the daily work life.

Requirements

This course is the first of two skill trainings in the specialization "Boost your digital skills". We recommend you to complete the course "Introduction to digital skills" before starting into this skill training.
